| G-Montseny 22 Jul 2011, 21:44 | Lion: Any click to select a file/folder pops up FP menu Hi, Turly: I've had to disable FP (2.3.9.1). When FP is active, I just can't select a file or folder in the Finder. When I click on one —with a Magic Mouse or with the MacBook (2008, aluminum) trackpad— it doesn't get selected and the FP menu always pops up. In the case of the Magic Mouse, it doesn't matter where I click, be it right, left or center, the FP menu keeps popping up... None of the Ctrl keys —main MacBook keyboard and external keyboard— is stuck. Any ideas? As always, thanks in advance for your attention. G* |

(I will of course look at this tomorrow!) Actually, I have more questions... is the popup menu an FP "contents" menu of the folder you clicked in... or is it a normal "FinderPop menu" ? |

Yesterday I tried "Finder Control-Free Popup Delay" almost to "Never" and it didn't work. This morning, I put it no "Never" and it did work! ... is the popup menu an FP "contents" menu of the folder you clicked in... or is it a normal "FinderPop menu" ? The popup menu was as expected, "contents" on a folder, normal on a file. BUT... I've had to disable it again in order to write this answer because Safari 5.1 quits unexpectedly (without error message/window) when I try to edit something here. Arrrggghhh...! G* |

Let me know if not! I don't normally use Safari but have been using it all day in Lion with FP enabled and haven't seen any problems. Likewise the Finder. Good luck, and let me know if your problems persist! |

Well: apparently, it's fixed! After a couple of tests, everything works fine, even after restoring "Finder Control-Free Popup Delay" almost to "Fast". Again, thanks for your work! G* |
