craigk49 25 Dec 2013, 19:36 | FP can only be invoked from menu bar after Mavericks 10.9.1 After installing Mavericks 10.9.1 update, I could only invoke FinderPop by right-clicking in an unused area of the menu bar. Also, only the standard Mac OS contextual menu is invoked when right-click/control-click/click & hold on a folder. When making a single click on a document with any click method including a single click the name enters the edit mode. Apps highlight as usual when clicked on. If I control-click on the desktop (failing to invoke FP), control-clicking in the menu bar won't work until I open the FP control panel and turn FP of and then back on. After the OS update, control clicking on the desktop changed the contextual menu by only displaying New Folder and Get Info options listed along with three horizontal dividers between the two options that display. It is like the contextual menu is aware there should be more options but doesn't display the appropriate text. Clicking inside the empty divisions does nothing and the division does not highlight as it does in the two text options. Just notices that left-clicking in an unused menu bar area invokes the FP menu. Previously that required a right-click/control-click to invoke the FP menu. I was using 2.5.1. I then installed 2.5.3 which did not change this behavior. |

After installing the update, FinderPop returned and is now functioning perfectly. I don't recall the version of Total Finder that was replaced. However, if you are running both TF and FP and run into a similar problem, it may be related. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all |
