Time to finally register for the NEW FinderPop Support Forum
I had similar strange items in my FinderPop Desktop submenu in the volumes section at the top. Empty folders that represented volumes that had been mounted in the past. I found them in /Volumes/ I simply trashed them (admin password needed).
