Anyone has installed FP on High Sierra?

I installed High Sierra 10.3.1 about an hour ago. The FP preference pane says it's not compatible with 10.3; I can confirm the same for 10.3.1. A bummer.

A follow up:

I have just upgraded from Sierra to High Sierra, 10.13.2. At first I thought FP didn't work, but had forgotten to disable SIP.
After doing so AND after running the bool true command in Terminal, FP 2.5.9 works perfectly from the Finder menu.

Do you mean this?

defaults write com.finderpop.finderpop ignoreSysVersionCheck -bool true

So everything works? I am mostly interested in the ability to invoke the Fav list by just rightclicking wherever in the desktop.

Hi Full Score, is there a guide or a tutorial of some kind on how to do this? Trying to do what you suggested, but I'm either not doing something correctly or I'm having some sort of an issue.

1) Install the latest FinderPop version.
1b) execute (using the Terminal app):
defaults write com.finderpop.finderpop ignoreSysVersionCheck -bool true
2) Disable SIP (reboot in discovery mode pressing cmd-r while restarting, in Terminal type command "csrutil disable", restart normal)
3) Open /Library/ScriptingAdditions folder
4) Move the FinderPopOsax.osax file in there to the /System/Library/ScriptingAdditions directory (creating the ScriptingAdditions directory first if it doesn't exist). Don't leave the file where it was, move it, don't just copy it. You will probably be prompted for an adminstrator password.
5) Open Terminal, and type command:
sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/ScriptingAdditions/FinderPopOsax.osax
6) You'll need to enter your admin password when prompted in the Terminal window
7) Enable SIP (reboot in discovery mode again, in Terminal type command "csrutil enable", restart normal)

This is what I did. And it worked!

I performed the same steps (above) after upgrading a Sierra.6 installation to High Sierra and then installing the 10.13.2 combo updater.

The osax file was missing from /System/Library/ScriptingAdditions where I had put it under Sierra months ago. Presumably, High Sierra's installer deleted it.

Luckily, I had a clone of my Sierra installation on an external hard drive and copied the osax file from the clone to /System/Library/ScriptingAdditions in my High Sierra installation.

After cold booting with SIP enabled, FinderPop did not function. Instead, an error alert displayed which stated "Sorry this version of FinderPop is not compatible with Mac OS 10.13—this computer has 10.13.2."

What do I need to do to get FP functioning (with or without the menubar item)—disable SIP?

Thanks in advance for pointers/tips/assistance.

Happy to report that FinderPop is working on my main iMac under High Sierra, too.

Only one strange thing, after installing FP there was NO FinderPopOsax.osax file whatsoever anywhere. I used BetterZip to uncompress the installation file and I don't know whether this Betterzip version failed to decompress it. I decompressed it right to the proper system folder manually, though, and everything seems to be working properly.

Strange, I have always used BetterZip and never had a problem. I don't know how to use the system unzip program beyond the right click Finder option, and that option is nowhere to be found under High Sierra (maybe the Betterzip setup procedure eliminates it?).

Anyway, happy camper here.
